This excellent Gran Reserva is the young Pedro Ximenez subjected to oxidative ageing for a minimum of 25 years in American oak. The colour is almost jet black with iodine notes exclusive to Pedro Ximenez wines. It has an amazing range of fragrances such as cacao cream, liquorice, black olives, peach syrup, Arabic coffee, vanilla & cinnamon. The palate is indulgent with a woody expression from the long ageing in oak. An excellent dessert wine by itself, but a perfect partner for strong blue cheese.
