Bollinger '007 Limited Edition' Millésimé 2011

This is a very special, limited release, champagne - released in honour of the 25th Bond film, No Time To Die. Bollinger has long been the champagne associated with the eponymous British spy, and this champagne truly is appropriate for Her Majesty's Secret Service!

This rare champagne is made using a Grand Cru harvest of 100% Pinot Noir grapes, the first time Bollinger have done this since their very first vintage in 1829. It is then laid in French oak for 12 months, an exceptionally long amount of time for champagne. The result is a truly delectable wine, that we believe will only improve as it ages in the bottle. Pale gold to the eye and with notes of tart apple on the nose. On the palate, it is mouth-puckeringly dry, bursting with toasted nuts and roasted apples. Expect a beautifully long and elegantly buttery finish, perfectly balanced with very fine and enthusiastic bubbles.

This wine comes presented in a mechanically-opening wooden and glass box, engraved with the titles of all the Bond films to date. We expect this to become a highly sought-after collector's item in years to come.
