Wines - Chardonnay
This grape is vinified in many different styles, from the lean, crisply mineral wines to wines with oak and tropical fruit flavours. In cool climates, Chardonnay tends to be medium to light-bodied with a noticeable acidity and notes of green plum, apple, and pear. In warmer locations the notes become more citrus, peach, and melon. Most quality Chardonnays boast a buttery mouthfeel and hazelnut notes.
